Reflection on Amal Totkay

AMAL is one of Pakistan’s leading academy that works on building or developing interpersonal/soft skills and polishing the soft skills of a person which can later result in professional growth, career development as well as personal growth. Going through the AMAL Totkay recently I realized such a gem these tips are which provide you the right path, the right direction, the right mindset and the right motivation to achieve your dream goals.

The AMAL Totkays are
1. Self-Talk.
2. Getting out of our comfort zone.
3. Creating new habits and keeping track of the progress of those habits.
4. Asking for help from our nearest and dearest.
5. Fake it till we make it.

These tips are some of the important tips to be practiced if a person wants to develop a growth mindset and wants relief from their fixed mindsets. After reading all these tips and thinking about those here are some of my takeaways regarding these tips. I will summarize it so that it becomes easily understandable.

So starting from the first Totkay that is self-talk it’s basically about talking with ourselves positively because positive self-talk will remove the negativity in our mindset and helps us to stay motivated and courageous.
Moving toward the second Totkay it’s all about leaving our comfort zone. As we’ve heard again and again that without leaving our comfort zone we can not succeed and achieve our dreams so it’s important if someone wants to change their mindset they need to leave their comfort zone.
Another, one of the important tip regarding changing our mindset from fixed to growth is creating good habits and keeping the track of those habits daily and removing our bad habits.
The fourth tip is about asking for help from someone whom we can trust or who can help us in our personal development and the last tip is to keep faking because if we keep saying Yes, I am confident even if you are not you will feel confident.

Now If you want to know my favorite tips among these I will definitely say getting out of your comfort zone and making good habits and removing the bad ones. As I’m already out of my comfort zone now and trying to make good habits these tips are really helping me to achieve my goals.
I suggest you all try to develop the growth mindset with these Totkays and continuous self-reflection as these Totkays with self-reflection will help you to change your mindset towards your goals as well as towards your life. The growth mindset will help us in every aspect of our life. Whether it be our job, career or personal life growth mindset is one of the keys to be successful and grow continuously even if you fail sometimes :)
